Merida from Brave
Merida is one princess I can identify with. She is courageous and does not fear to say her mind. I like her personality a lot so I sketched her according to my imagination because she has unrealistic proportions in the movie. I wanted to make her look realistic, so enjoy!

PS- She also turned her mum into a bear. Good idea !

The girl Child
The Girl Child : A Tender bud
Little girls of the ages of 6 and below are a joy to see. They prance around, in their cute frocks and ponies all the while singing sweet rhymes and making the person with them so happy that for a while he/she can forget everything else and just listen to their enchanting chatter.
Now-a-days, the scenario is not so good for girls. I think I understated, and maybe I should mean quite bad. The crimes against women and girls of all ages are increasing day by day.
Such crimes such as rape, sexual harassment and molesting are a crisis, a problem that keeps coming again and again. The perverted people who commit such disgusted and heinous acts should be punished severely.
But look at the positive side! The government is trying its best to stop the crimes, some girls have made themselves powerful and strong and we all want our country to be a better place.
Friends, here I have made a sketch about girls -

History is no more a Mystery !
History
When we all hear History.... we think that i'm gonna need a pillow. I'm gonna sleep!
But History isn't always all that boring. Except the dates.....
Here are some ways to enjoy history:)
1. Think of it as a story
This is probably the most common sentence you'll hear for history, but I'm not joking. Imagine everything as story time going on in front of you. Maybe you are at the scene ! Its like you're in front of Akbar, or Aurangzeb while he was dividing his kingdom among his sons when you see that he's not going to to give you any, and suddenly you realize that its not actually happening and the brothers would kill each other for the throne anyway.
I am so glad I'm not a Mughal kid in line.
2.Write everything down.
I know taking notes during classes pains the hand but saves you from an awful lot of reading later.
While the textbooks have long boring text, you can write the points in keywords in your own history notepad and keep reading them. They come in handy during the exams.
3.Ask
Ask your teacher if you don't know or aren't sure for something.
Nobody will clear your doubts if they don't know.
As for me, I have a great teacher ......:)
4. Go on You tube
You tube is definitely the best source to have a lot of practice and what's even better... It's fun! You tube has a thousand videos on every chapter. So go make the boring chapters interesting.
My exams just finished. I am waiting eagerly for the results.
Let's see !

Doodling an Owl - Save Owls !
Doodling an Owl
Owls are third on my list of favorite birds. And what reason do I have not to like them ? They're majestic, beautiful and quiet.Well, silence is golden, and it helps these wonderful birds catch their prey, which usually consists of mice and small mammals. Unfortunately, the numbers of this species has seen a rapid decline in the recent times. During festivals owls are caught and offered as a sacrifice to the gods, mainly Lakshmidevi during Diwali. I don't know what makes these people think that catching an innocent owl and offering it to gods will appease their wrath. Well, festivals aren't needed to kill them.Village folks catch owls and kill them as a bad omen, Poachers for their beaks, talons and feathers and other evil people for their eyes and organs to perform unnecessary rituals and trade in the name of black magic. I wish these people would stop doing it. Owls help us keep our farms and fields rat-free and they keep the ecosystem well balanced. So whenever you see an Owl, try to save it and remember my article .
