When Raindrops Fall

I like the monsoon, so I pen down my thoughts in the form of this poem. Do tell me your memories about rain, and about what you think of this poem and the watercolor about a rural scene in the rain!

Monsoon

Monsoon is here!

The sweet smell of soil, a light drizzle on your face and splashing is what you experience when you know the rains have come.

  

              I am enjoying at My                                     grandparents place and                                     the monsoon season has                                   officially arrived! When it first rained I squealed with delight as I knew that meant that we would go out in the rain, get wet and put paper boats in the water. Rain is also very necessary as it gives a huge relief from the hot sun. Its a lot of fun too!

I have a feeling that I should enjoy this moment of childhood joy right now, who knows whether it will come again?
