Its the festival we all wait for, Its Ganesh chaturthi! This time( well actually every time:)) I have made a Ganesh which is ecofriendly with a new idea!
I put Chiku / Sapota seed inside the Ganesha in a clay pot.
Is'nt this a unique idea to plant trees and stop pollution ? Instead of immersing Ganesh in a bucket full of water like I do every year this time I will pour water on it and the chiku/sapota tree will come out.
Its easy to make and Ill tell you some facts about Lord Ganesha -Ganesha, also known as Ganapati, Vinayaka and Binayak, is one of the best-known and most worshiped deities in the Hindu religion
-He is given the title of Adipujya, which means the god who is worshipped first or before all other gods.
-Ganesha has the head of an elephant and the body of a healthy plump boy.
-Ganesha is the favourite god of the people of India and has many names-
Ganesha, Ganpati, Vinayak, bappa, ekadanataya etc.
(The best part for me is the festival holiday !) ;)
so enjoy your ganesh chaturthi !
