This is how I imagine the personification of the evening star to be. A young and beauteous lady, who has bright eyes and chestnut hair, whose beauty lies in her naturalness and personality. I have made this portrait with shading pencils and I have been making her for quite a few weeks now. She wouldn't have taken much time, but I decided to make her slowly.

Monsoon
Monsoon is here!
The sweet smell of soil, a light drizzle on your face and splashing is what you experience when you know the rains have come.
I have a feeling that I should enjoy this moment of childhood joy right now, who knows whether it will come again?

I am enjoying at My grandparents place and the monsoon season has officially arrived! When it first rained I squealed with delight as I knew that meant that we would go out in the rain, get wet and put paper boats in the water. Rain is also very necessary as it gives a huge relief from the hot sun. Its a lot of fun too!
